Job Description

Job Description
Salary: $20-$29/hr DOE

Duties specific to this position include:

  • Answering incoming calls, making outbound calls, checking voicemails, managing electronic communications, and managing the flow of medical records and other important, confidential documentation.
  • Ensure timely answering of phones, direct calls to the appropriate team member, proactive follow-up, manage voicemail
  • Ensure all supplies are stocked, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
  • Employ critical thinking to provide a solution for the patient or direct them to the appropriate resource including appropriately escalating patient concerns
  • Work in a team environment with front office and providers
  • Possibility of monitor patient flow, rooming patients, and prioritize flow for physicians and staff
  • Possibility of working from home half a day.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Maintain a professional presentation, patient confidentiality and have strong interpersonal communication skills in person and by phone
  • Must have exceptional organizational, time management skills and be able to appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • Must be eager to work in a dynamic environment and willing to learn new skills
  • Proficient with computers and have strong keyboarding skills
  • Must have the ability to work well both as a member of a team and independently and able to take initiative
  • Must be open-minded, non-judgmental and compassionate
  • 1 years of healthcare experience preferred (not required)

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant License: preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a medical office setting: preferred (not required)
  • Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, etc.)

Schedule: Monday-Thursday

Hours: Mondays 10AM-5PM, Tues-Thurs 8AM-close

Work Location: One location - Bellevue, WA 98004
